We recently received this nice e-mail from Erika Salzman, who taught Ben 1st grade and Jack math:
 
Dear Ned,

It's been some time since we have been in touch.  I just recently heard about the Judy.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  I remember her to be such a wonderful mother and all around woman.  Although it has been a long while I will never forget your family.  You and Judy were such wonderful parents to Ben when I knew him.  Please know that I am thinking of you and Jack and Ben and send my best to them as well.  I hope the support from family and friends will help you though this difficult time.
